How to make Shrimp Lettuce Wraps
Step 1. Prepare ingredients and shrimp 2 minWash thoroughly cherry tomatoes, salad leaves and parley. Cut cherry tomatoes into halves. |
Step 2. Season shrimp 1 minSeason the shrimp with salt and pepper. |
Step 3. Prepare Batter 2 minIn a shallow dish, beat the egg. |
Step 4. Mix Dry Ingredients 1 minIn another shallow dish, combine flour, cornstarch, smoked red paprika, chili pepper powder, and dried basil. Mix well. |
Step 5. Coat Shrimp 3 minDip each shrimp into the flour mixture, then the beaten egg, and last time to the flour mixture, allowing excess to drip off. |
Step 6. Heat Oil 2 minIn a deep skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil until it is hot, but not bubbly. |
Step 7. Fry Shrimp 10 minCarefully place the coated shrimp into the hot oil, a few at a time, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. |
Step 8. Assemble 3 minTake a lettuce leaf and place a few pieces of halved cherry tomatoes, parsley leaves and fried shrimp on top. |
Step 9. Serve 1 minServe the shrimp lettuce wraps immediately. Enjoy! |
